I studied Recreation & Leisure Management in Munster Technological University for 3 years and continued on to study a Bachelor of Business in Year 4,  and qualified with an Honors degree in Business Management. After completing my time in MTU, I went on to further my studies in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy and qualified in 2018.

 

My role as an NMT include administering Physical Therapy including appropriate soft tissue manipulation of dysfunctional muscle, and to rehabilitate soft tissue injuries

 

I started working in the Optimum Physiotherapy & Recovery Clinic in Clonakilty in 2021.. I am currently studying to become a Mat Pilates Instructor and have completed courses in Advanced Trigger Point Dry Needling, Strapping & Taping, Safe Level Rugby 2.

 

Outside of work at Optimum Physiotherapy & Recovery, I work with Ballincollig RFC – working with the Womens AIL Team as their lead NMT, and offering pitch side assistance. I also work with the Mens Rugby Team at Ballincollig RFC.

 

My hobbies include – gym training – strength training, hiking, water activities – kayaking & paddleboarding, going for coffee with friends, and travelling.
